The position is responsible for the tactical daily asset plan that covers all available revenue opportunities, meets or exceeds customer expectation and fully utilizes every assigned asset on a daily basis. The E/P will work closely with the load planner to have the correct equipment ready for loading at the appointed time.
Essential Functions:
Make the daily schedule and obtain commitments from all vendors, Tank washes and Shops Ensure equipment is ready for use at the appointed time, utilizing all equipment and sources to do so Manage tank washes to vendors expectations and to institute and keep track of NCR's that involve the scope of this position and operations. Work with Maintenance facility on a daily basis to ensure all trailers are in a high level of repair and in full compliance to all federal, state and local regulations as well as all QC preventative maintenance standards Assist Load planner in making asset assignments, ensuring that complete work assignments can be sent to all drivers Cross Train with Load Planner to provide backup support as needed Other duties as assignedEducation
2 Year Business Degree preferred High School Diploma or GED equivalent, Required
Knowledge/ Skills/ Abilities (Competencies)
