Summary You will serve as an EQUIPMENT SPECIALIST in the TRAINING & READINESS DEPARTMENT of HELICOPTER MARITIME STRIKE WING PAC. Responsibilities You will manage all programs concerning the operations, maintenance, modification, installation, procurement and support of aviation training devices. You will provide technical support tin the acceptance of trainer device deliveries and trainer device modifications. You will develop and update training device Mission Essential Subsystem matrices. You will develop and prepare reports on training device utilization and availability. You will prepare, submit and track Training Equipment Change Requests in accordance with rules and regulations. You will provide contracting officers representative services to monitor and evaluate contractor performance under COMS and SC1 contracts. You will prepare and maintain documentation on inspection results, contract required reports, rationales for changes and/or improvement and other reports as required. You will develop monthly and long-range requirements for normal and premium time utilization of training devices. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications GS-12: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-11) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: evaluating operational and maintenance requirements for an aviation training program by recommending solutions and providing technical guidance for the installation, modification or procurement of equipment or simulator devices to ensure compliance with aviation training program guidelines.
