Equipment Sustaining Senior Manager

Purpose Statement

Our team of engineers and technical experts meticulously design, commercialize, sustain, and service cutting-edge f’real blending and ProWhip whipping equipment. Our f’real platforms expertly blend authentic milkshakes, smoothies, and other frozen beverages. Passionate f’real customers and consumers prepare our delicious products using our patented blenders, found in nearly 25,000 locations worldwide. ProWhip, our innovative appliance, delivers a diverse range of sustainable whipped toppings for both beverage and bakery applications. Together, f’real and ProWhip create equipment-based product solutions that cater to our global customers and consumers. Due to expected expansion within this category, we are currently looking for a Equipment Sustaining Senior Manager to join the team.

The Equipment Sustaining Senior Manager is a critical leadership role within our engineering organization. You will lead a team that is responsible for sustaining the f’real and ProWhip equipment platforms.  You will collaborate closely with colleagues in the Equipment Engineering and Technical Services organization as well as the business to drive continuous improvement and innovation.

We are happy to consider remote applicants for this role, with expected travel of around 15%

Key Accountabilities and Outcomes

1. Sustaining Engineering Leadership:
•    Lead a sustaining engineering team responsible for supporting current (f’real and Prowhip) and future equipment-based platforms.
•    Hire and develop resources as needed to support the work of the sustaining engineering team.
•    Drive continuous improvement efforts for existing equipment.
•    Contribute to the design and development of future equipment solutions.

2. Team Building and Onboarding:
•    Lead the hiring and onboarding process for key members of the Sustaining engineering team.
•    Foster a high-performance culture and ensure team alignment with organizational goals.

3. Customer-Centered Culture:
•    Instill a customer-focused mindset within the team.
•    Champion a culture of responsiveness, empathy, and proactive problem-solving.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

•    Mechanical Engineering Degree highly preferred.
•    Significant experience designing solutions for foodservice or similar equipment.
•    Supporting the building of proof-of-concept prototypes and ultimately commercialization of solutions.
•    Demonstrated knowledge about the engineering validation and certification process that is necessary to commercialize equipment.
•    An understanding how engineering design impacts the long-term reliability of equipment solutions.
•    Team Leadership: Ability to identify, hire, onboard, and effectively lead high-performing teams.
•    Decision-Making Autonomy: Capable of making informed decisions and gaining alignment with business partners.

COMPENSATION

In accordance with state law, the rate or range provided is Rich Products Corporation, its subsidiaries and affiliates ("Rich's"), reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role. The actual amount may be higher or lower, based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, shift differential, and location.

 

Annual Range/Hourly Rate

$144,651.57 - $216,977.36
