Equipment Tech(ET)- Full Time, AMG ENT New Providence

Responsible for assisting the surgical team before, during, and after surgery, maintaining a sterile environment.�
Principal Accountabilities:
1. Responsible for the reprocessing of instruments and scopes in a physician practice setting. (Washes and sterilizes equipment, using germicides and sterilizers)
2. Responsible for patient safety and quality measures, such as documentation of infection prevention processes.
3. Responsible for maintenance of infection prevention equipment used.
4. Works as a team with other physician support staff.
5. Tracks the need for supplies.
6. Attends necessary trainings relating to position.
7. Other related duties as assigned
Required:
1. High School Diploma or GED required
2. Previous healthcare experience preferred
