How will you make an impact?Working under close supervision, you will perform a variety of simple to routine tasks by following detailed work instructions. Your role will be critical in maintaining and repairing electro-mechanical equipment, ensuring the smooth operation of manufacturing processes. What will you do? + Perform scheduled preventive maintenance. + Conduct feeder maintenance, repair, and data tracking. + Train employees in the operation and maintenance of machinery. + Train and coordinate activities of Maintenance Assistants (MA). + Troubleshoot non-functioning electro-mechanical equipment used in manufacturing. + Dismantle, adjust, repair, and assemble equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, operating manuals, or sketches. + Use test and diagnostic equipment to perform system checkouts. + Work overtime as needed. + Comply with and follow all procedures within the company's security policy. + Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned. How will you get here? Education: + Associate’s degree in electronics with an emphasis on servo positioning theory, or an equivalent discipline. Experience: + Zero to two years of relevant work experience, preferably with electro-mechanical equipment in a manufacturing environment. + Prior experience as a Maintenance Assistant may be substituted. + An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience will be considered. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: + Ability to acquire job skills and learn company policies and procedures to complete routine tasks. + Proficiency in reading, writing, and communicating in English. + Experience with basic and specialized hand tools, leveling instruments, and knowledge of torque specifications. + Basic mathematics proficiency. + Understanding of electronic color codes and component value markings. + Knowledge of safety practices and requirements. + Familiarity with personal computers in a Windows environment (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and email). + Experience using specialized maintenance tracking programs. Preferred Qualifications: + Experience working with electro-mechanical equipment in a manufacturing environment. + Familiarity with troubleshooting and repairing manufacturing machinery.
