Hours: PRN, Flexible scheduling, 24 hours required with in 6 week scheduling period.

General Summary

Performs modified cleaning and sterilizing duties. Collects, sorts, cleans, sterilizes and stores instruments after use.

Essential Functions:

Cleans, distributes and/or delivers equipment to CSR for sterilization on a regular basis; does minor trouble shooting and preventive maintenance of equipment when necessary. Checks equipment, supplies and accessories on a regular basis. Obtains and returns required equipment. Sets up and removes equipment and supplies; ensures equipment is functioning properly and stored appropriately. Maintains inventory of supplies and equipment. Maintains appropriate records, reports, and files as required. May assist with charting in the patients clinical chart, and breaking down and setting up for patient care.

Common Expectations:

Maintains established policies and procedures, objectives, quality assessment, safety, environmental and infection control standards. Participates in educational programs and inservice meetings. Provides outstanding service to all customers; fosters teamwork; and practices fiscal responsibility through improvement and innovation. Distributes supplies and equipment to units in a timely fashion. Maintains the cleanliness of work areas as required.

Qualifications

Minimum Education:

High School Diploma or GED Required

Work Experience:

Less than 1 year Related experience. Required You’re unique and you belong here.
