POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Individual receives, cleans, inspects, tests product, both visually and electrically in accordance with standards and procedures.  Individual will records results and issues all rubber products (which includes sleeves, gloves and blankets) in accordance with established schedules.  This function is performed under limited supervision.  The ability to work independently and ahead to meet both anticipated and unanticipated business needs is essential.  Assists in assembling, testing, and inspecting materials and equipment as required.  Maintains paperwork and other electronic records for materials and equipment as directed.  

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

A High School diploma or the equivalent is required.  Mechanical aptitude, manual and finger dexterity, ability to pay attention to detail, the ability to communicate effectively, follow instructions, adhere to testing standards, lift 50 lbs, learn various computer systems, and a valid Motor Vehicle Operator’s license with a proven safe driving record are also required.  The willingness to work a reasonable amount of overtime when offered the opportunity to do so, travel and overnight accommodations are required periodically.  Will have storm restoration and emergency assignments.  CAST Test required.
