Equities EMEA UAT Management

Key Accountabilities

Work with Business and users to identify the UAT scope and stakeholders for releases based on Project parameters.

Participate in and drive the UAT Kickoff calls to define UAT strategy, scope, participating team, scripts, engagement model, execution schedule, working practices and controls.

Coordination with IT and business for end to end execution of trades in Equities EMEA business and managing the UAT releases with respect to schedule, priorities, issues, risks and mitigation plans.

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Tracking the defects encountered during execution as well as those reported by users and follow-up to conclusion.

Able to create Equity Trading Test data sets to be used during smoke testing as well as UAT cycles.

Ensure the open issues / conditional signoffs are communicated appropriately and handled with logical conclusion.

Defining UAT data requirements/models, securing appropriate end to end test environment connectivity, coordinating release management ahead of each test phase.

Managing risks, dependencies and limitations of upcoming projects in order to deliver efficient and comprehensive UAT phase coverage sympathetically with project timelines.

Obtaining formal sign-off of UAT test approach, scope and closure from all key project stakeholders and ensure traceability throughout the development cycle.

Working actively and closely with the project team and key business users to improve the approach and execution of UAT, actively participate and promote process improvement initiatives

Ownership of the UAT environments, maintaining the build version integrity and ensuring daily issues are managed and resolved in a prompt manner.

Essential Skills/Basic Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree in MIS, Computer Science, Engineering or Finance or equivalent with proven experience in Equities Business.

In depth and extensive knowledge of front to back Equity flows and processes.

Proven ability to influence across multiple teams and regions to deliver solutions to complex problems.

Excellent communication and relationship skills and strong stakeholder management.

This role is based in Pune.

To manage change projects that help the organisation achieve its strategic objectives, while ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, in control and in compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies and procedures. 

Accountabilities

Management of change projects within the organisation, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within scope, budget, and to the required quality standards.Development and management of project plans that outline the scope, objectives, timelines, and resource requirements for change projects.Communication with stakeholders, including senior management, project teams, and external partners, to ensure that they are informed about project progress and that their needs and expectations are being met.Management of project teams, ensuring that they are properly resourced and that they have the necessary skills and expertise to deliver on project objectives.Management of project budgets, ensuring that projects are delivered within the agreed budget.Creation of reports on project progress to ensure that proposed solutions are delivered on time and within budget.Management of project risks, ensuring that risk, assumptions, issues and dependencies are identified, assessed, and mitigated as necessary.Facilitation of change management activities, including training and communication, to ensure that change projects are successfully implemented and embedded in the organisation.
