As Equity Administrator, you will provide support and consultation to the Total Rewards Team. The team has an important role ensuring our employee value proposition is competitive in the marketplace and financially sustainable. Your work will help guide the continued development of our equity programs as we continue to scale.
This role administers the Equity Plan for executives and Board members. Responsibilities associated with the equity plan include working with internal and external resources to ensure all administrative functions of the equity plan are processed in a timely and accurate manner, including grants, vesting, dividends and plan reporting among other plan requirements. This role will work closely with other members of the Human Resources team as well as with the Finance & Accounting team, external consultants and the equity plan Transfer Agent. In addition, this role will play a key part in additional compensation related functions of the Bank including administering deferred compensation plans and assisting with ongoing compensation items including salary surveys and market data analysis, annual compensation processes (merit, promotions and incentives) and other ad-hoc projects.
Equity Plan Administration
Accurately and efficiently handle the day-to-day administration of the company's equity plans, working closely with our administrative vendor (E*TRADE and third party consulting firm). Manage calendar to include various equity award, vesting and dividend events throughout the year. Ensure that all equity transactions are processed and settled timely and accurately. Work closely with equity vendor, transfer agent, payroll and finance teams to reconcile transactions, tax withholding and reporting, plan share count and other items as required. Prepare participant communications, respond to employee inquiries and resolve employee issues or concerns in a timely manner. Prepare compensation and equity tables for required public disclosure (e.g. annual Proxy Statement)
Annual Compensation Processes
Assist in administering the various annual compensation processes using the HCMS system (Oracle HCM Cloud) Perform analysis and reporting for management and others as required on a regular and ad-hoc basis Test and validate the compensation module following system patches and upgrades, and prior to compensation cycle launches; ensure all aspects of the processes are working as intended Act as a point of contact for HR Business Partner, Manager and employee questionsOther Compensation Responsibilities Annual Salary Structure and Market Position Review
Prepare data for annual salary survey processes Maintain and utilize Aon’s Human Capital Analytics system for compensation benchmarking Utilize survey and benchmarking data to evaluate Eastern’s market competitiveness and prepare reports to division management following release of benchmarking data Partner with Talent Acquisition team to approve review and approve job offers and internal promotions within internal guidelines Assist with other tasks associated with the compensation process up to and including salary budgets, job structures and internal re-organizationsDeferred Compensation Administration
Administer Eastern’s non-qualified deferred compensation plans by overseeing annual enrollment process, working with the Bank’s external plan administrator, ensuring accuracy of participant information, and coordinating with participants and internal stakeholdersOther:

REQUIREMENTS:
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree, 2-5 years of stock administration experience using stock plan systems in a publicly traded company. Experience with annual compensation processes in banking or financial services preferred.
Skills/Knowledge
Advanced excel skills required; experience with HR systems (Oracle, WorkDay) and reporting skills preferred. Extremely organized, detail-oriented with excellent analytical skills and ability to work independently, managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
