Key Responsibilities
The candidate is expected to join the Equity Strategy team, with a strong China focus. The team has been voted as the No.1 Equity Strategy team 7 years in a row since 2018 in the Institutional Investor Asia Research survey.
Responsible for equity strategy research and report drafting on different subjects including:Index price target forecast, sector allocation recommendations and top-down stock picking and portfolio constructionLong-term thematic trendNear-term market commentaryPerform detailed research analysis both quantitatively and qualitatively based on deep knowledge and understanding of equity market, equity index, market composition, earnings and valuation movesAddress client requests in a timely fashion, including performing the underlying analysis and drafting communication documents and emailsConduct live client interaction including in-person meetings, live calls, webcasts and ad-hoc interactionsAbout the Firm

Experience in equity strategy research within a top tier sell side or buy side firm.Experience in dealing with equity asset class concepts and performing both fundamental, thematic and quantitative analysis2-3 years (minimum) of relevant experience in equity strategy research or relevant areasGood communication skills both in writing and in live client interactionFluent in Mandarin Chinese (reading and writing)Experience with both the A-share market and the offshore China equity space strongly preferredQualifications, Skills Requirements
