Great opportunity to join a Global platform in Equity Sales Trading. We are looking for an experienced smart, ambitious motivated person willing to seek out opportunities who will be rewarded with autonomy and a supportive team within a global investment bank.
What will you do?
Assist in maintaining, developing, and growing key client relationshipsExecution of client orders on Australian market for Australian & Global accountsAssist in initiating sales to Australian, Asian and International accountsProvide client flow and market information to the RBC Sales deskExisting local client relationshipsUndertake fundamentalist analysis and short-term trading ideas and arbitrage opportunitiesSupport the sales and trading desk in general administration for all clientsAssist in the production of daily notes and communications to clientsAssist in development of electronic trading capabilitiesSupport other traders and salespeople in Sydney and in offshore branchesSolicit client orders from overseas branchesParticipate in morning meeting and global callsAssist with executions and reporting of RBCEL orders for their APAC marketsSolicit and support the trading of Australian and Asian accounts into offshore markets via our offshore branchesWhat do you need to succeed?
Must-have
Good knowledge of Australian equities market & financial markets generallyDTR-qualified preferredIdeally 5 years or more of relevant experienceMust maintain level of knowledge through CPDModelling/Excel skillsTertiary level educationNice to have
