As an Emergency Room Concierge, you'll play a crucial role in delivering compassionate care and enhancing client experiences during some of their most stressful moments.
About the Role: We’re looking for a full-time Emergency Room Concierge to be the vital link between our emergency team and clients. You’ll support the workflow by managing communications and processes that ensure our patients and their humans feel supported every step of the way. Duties:
Ensure primary vet records and are attached and the rDVM is entered into ezyVetPreparing and reviewing treatment plans with clientsActing as a client advocate regarding care and financesCollaborating with Doctors and clinical team to facilitate approved treatments and diagnosticsManaging multiple software systems for incoming ER patients (ezyVet, ER Express, Smartflow, TEAMS)Processing payments/refunds for ER clientsEnsure that all client and rDVM information is documented in ezyVetOversee triage process and ER Room assignmentsOversee where our clients are located (home, lobby, examination room, etc.)Provide updates to owners when the wait time is longer than anticipated and communicate current updates in a timely mannerReview invoices prior to discharge, making sure that all charges are captured for services providedPrepare and review euthanasia paperwork with ownersAfter medical update for inpatients have been given, review continued care treatment plan and collect deposit if needed.Shift Info: Sunday - Tuesday, 12-hour shifts, Daytime
Compensation range: $19.50 - $22.50 hourly
Who You Are:
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and the ability to compassionately discuss financial obligations with clients. You will serve as a client-pet advocate, effectively updating doctors and technicians on the client’s financial situation and treatment goals for their pet. A strong understanding of medical terminology and basic procedures is essential.
