As an Employee Relations Specialist, you will be responsible for providing Employee Relations support to various levels of the organization. Responsibilities include investigating cases from the Ethics Hotline, recommending corrective actions for workforce issues, and advising management with respect to federal, state, and local laws.
Responsibilities
Act as internal consultant for the Ethics Hotline.
Provide coaching, counseling, and recommendations to varying levels of the organization on a broad range of workforce issues.
Assist in the investigation and resolution of legal complains by drafting documentation to support Legal cases.
Provide investigatory support to management in complex employee relations cases as part of the conflict resolution process.
Conduct exit interviews to ensure proper information is captured, recorded, and is available for analysis.
Present updates to key initiatives at regional management meetings.
Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.
Qualifications
Knowledge equivalent to a four-year college degree, plus 4 years of related experience and/or training in an applicable role, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of known variables in situation where only limited standardization exists.
Knowledge of Human Resources systems is preferred.
Previous Employee Relations experience is highly preferred.
