ER Technician III - ED League City (Nights)

JOB DESCRIPTION:

To provide advanced technical assistance and supportive patient care to meet the needs of individual patients throughout assigned areas in the Emergency Department.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

Minimum Qualifications:

High School or equivalent. One (1) year experience as an ER Technician II. Completion of one of the following technical programs: Completion of EMT program, Is enrolled in a recognized School of Nursing and has completed the first semester of education, which contains clinical concepts and health assessments, Active state EMS certification in good standing at the date of hire, or Recognized military training as a US Army medic, US Navy Corpsmen, US Air Force Medic, or US Coast Guard Corpsmen. LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS OR CERTIFICATIONS

Required:

BLS, ACLS, and PALS from American Heart Association (AHA). One of the following specialty certifications: (manager approval required) Paramedic certification, National Emergency Medical Dispatcher certification, National Rhythm Analysis Technician certification, or BLS Instructor from American Heart Association (AHA).
