Ergonomic Specialist
Clover Leaf Solutions, Inc. is looking for an Ergonomics Specialist experienced in industrial ergonomic settings to join our growing team in our Albuquerque, NM site. This is a full-time salaried position with our firm. We are seeking a professional that has a knowledge base of industrial safety and scientific/engineering standard concepts, principles, and techniques and ability to apply formal training. Candidates shall have knowledge and experience in hazard identification, evaluation, and controls; developing and delivering training; evaluating industrial operations for ergonomic risks. BCPE certified and DOE security clearance is desired. Formal education/training may be expected.

What You Will Do: Analyze the human interface and risks with the use of equipment and machinery in industrial operations Perform and analyze workplace risk assessments and formulate corrective actions Identify work areas, work tasks, and work methodologies for improvement opportunities As needed, design practical solutions to implement improvement ideas Create/Write reports, proposals, procedures and flowcharts Create/Write Safety Minutes, articles, and reports, as needed Use detailed knowledge of the human body, anthropometrics, cognition, and work design to improve the design of the workplace, human-work interface, and product. Conduct employee questionnaires, interviews, and surveys to gather data for analysis, findings and process improvement. Contribute ergonomics expertise to the development of OSHA, NIOSH, legislation, standards, guidance materials, operational policies and procedures in relation to ergonomics Investigate workplace injuries and illnesses, determine causal issues, and recommend corrective actions Provide advice, guidance, information, and training to MOWs, customers, and management Provide project manage or support for internal or external projects from inception to completion Required Qualifications: Eligibility for a DOE clearance, which includes U.S. Citizenship. Desired Qualifications: Current or recently inactive DOE “Q” or “L” clearance. BCPE, CPE, CIE, or CEAS certifications Ability to team effectively and communicate with a broad audience Experience with rapid data analysis/triage and review Comfortable with making decisions independently and quickly Strong computer and database skills Strong verbal and written communication skills Strong background in ES&H data and reporting Clover Leaf Solutions is a small business headquartered in Albuquerque, New Mexico, with key offices in San Francisco, CA and Pittsburgh, PA, and we are growing.
