Our client, a highly regarded AmLaw 100 firm, is seeking a talented and motivated Associate Attorney to join their Employee Benefits and Executive Compensation Group in their Philadelphia office.
Candidate Profile: JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record. Bar Admission in Pennsylvania. 3-4 years of substantive experience with the Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA), employee benefits, and executive compensation law. Proficiency in working with ERISA, the Internal Revenue Code, and other applicable employee benefits laws. Experience advising on matters related to executive compensation, qualified retirement plans, and health and welfare benefits. Exceptional drafting, research, and communication skills. Key Responsibilities: Counsel clients on compliance with ERISA, the Internal Revenue Code, and other employee benefits regulations. Draft and review executive compensation agreements, retirement plans, and health and welfare benefits documents. Provide strategic advice on employee benefits and compensation matters, including regulatory compliance and risk management. Collaborate with other practice groups to deliver comprehensive client solutions. Manage multiple assignments effectively while maintaining a high level of attention to detail. The firm offers a competitive compensation package with a target annual pay range of $245,000-$275,000, commensurate with experience, skills, market factors, and business needs.
