Raytheon has an opening for an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Architecture Lead position (Sr. Manager, Business Systems and Transformation). 

The SAP Solution Architect will be responsible for providing solution and application architecture support to the Raytheon ERP Transformation team.  Must work with various Business and ERP Core teams to develop vision, strategy, and technical solutions to deliver best practice solutions.  Work with application team leads, team architects, and enterprise architects to deliver application team deliverables related to support and deployment of ERP solutions.  Participate in building business cases as necessary to support hypotheses. Responsible for providing technical input to long term technical strategic plans and the tactics that are necessary to achieve those plans and objectives.  This will involve developing complex processes which account for infrastructure, architecture, and cyber team engagement to achieve the desired technical state.  This architect will work across the enterprise to leverage expertise wherever it resides in RTX as needed to support the development and sustainment of RTX’s ERP systems as RTX continues to drive large scale, transformational initiatives that will consolidate and evolve foundational platforms.

What You Will Do:

Provide SAP expertise and strategy in respect to systems development, SAP configuration, integration, user access methods, solutions, and applications.

Research solutions for complex problems using a variety of methods and modalities.

Drive and deliver activities related to technology roadmap creation and execution.   Work across RTX to drive the development and adoption of key ERP capabilities that are common, innovative, and scalable. 

Design and develop key deliverables related to SAP S/4HANA such as Instance Strategy, Deployment Strategy, Integration Strategy and Boundary System architectures. Progress design deliverables through the implementation cycles.

Align with the oneRTX: Process & Systems Transformation Digital team on technical standards and platforms.

Provide technical oversight for replacing capabilities and boundary system replacements deprecated by the ECC to S/4HANA transformation (i.e. ICMS, CMES, Warehouse Mgmt, etc.).

Work with process teams to determine scope of objects needed to deliver implementation including but not limited to reports, conversions, interfaces, enhancements and forms.

Ability to travel ~25%

Qualifications You Must Have:

Typically, a University Degree or equivalent and minimum 12 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in related field and minimum 10 years of experience. .

Current U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Qualifications We Prefer: 

Experience in business process knowledge and configuration of SAP S/4HANA for the RTX Workstreams – Record to Report, Order to Cash, Source to Pay, Plan to Sustain. 

Experience with designing Fiori UX and developing strategies for deployment, security, hosting strategy for UX.

Experience using modern tools to integrate systems with SAP.  Knowledge of SAP Business Integration Suite and SAP Business Technology Platform.  

Experience in S/4 HANA Implementation / System Conversion / Landscape Transformation, SAP Cloud application implementations using AGILE / SAP ACTIVATE methodology. 

Experience in architecture modeling tools such as SPARX Enterprise Architecture. 

Minimum 3 full lifecycle implementations / roll outs & support experience in SAP ECC and/or S4 projects. 

Understanding of ABAP dialog programming, user exits, customer enhancement methodologies, BDC, report writing and understanding of the underlying tables and data structures within SAP a plus.

SAP module experience in Production Planning (including MRP), Quality Management, Human Resources, Controlling, Project Systems, Sales and Distribution, (contracts, invoicing, shipping and delivery), Financials, and Grouping Pegging and Distribution.  

Experience in Project Manufacturing Management and Optimization (PMMO)

The salary range for this role is 143,000 USD - 287,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
