Description We are looking for a proficient ERP/CRM Consultant to join our team located in Minneapolis, Minnesota. In this role, you will be tasked with improving our existing D365 Business Central (BC) environment, developing strategies for cloud migration, enhancing business procedures using standard functionality, and managing integration challenges with unique modules. This position offers a long term contract employment opportunity. Responsibilities: • Diagnose and troubleshoot problems derived from the upgrade from BC’20 to BC’24, while conducting system health checks to detect performance issues and integration gaps. • Develop a comprehensive cloud migration plan to transition the team to the cloud version of D365 Business Central. • Analyze and document the existing integrations of proprietary applications with Business Central. • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand current workflows and spot inefficiencies; suggest best practices to streamline processes and utilize standard BC cloud features. • Act as the primary SME for Business Central, serving as the liaison between technical teams, end users, and leadership. • Ensure data integrity and minimize business disruptions during migration. • Collaborate with development teams to restructure or replace custom integrations as needed. • Identify opportunities to replace customizations with out-of-box functionality in the cloud. • Provide training and documentation for users transitioning to new workflows. • Facilitate workshops and design sessions to gather business requirements and present proposed solutions. Requirements • Proficiency in Client Side Scripting, with the ability to write, test, and debug code. • Familiarity with Cloud Technologies, including storage solutions and security aspects. • Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software, including implementation, troubleshooting, and user training. • Expertise in ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning, including understanding of business operations and how to integrate ERP systems into business processes. • Proficiency in Microsoft products, with emphasis on Excel and Power BI for data analysis. • Experience with AB Testing methodologies, with the ability to interpret results and implement changes based on data. • Proficiency in API Development, including understanding of RESTful APIs and API integration. • Strong understanding of Business Process Functions and the ability to map processes to ERP/CRM systems. • Experience in preparing Business Requirement Document, with the ability to translate business needs into system requirements. • Knowledge of Configuration Management, including setting up and maintaining an organization's system infrastructure.
