CGI is seeking an ERP Functional Analyst (HR or Payroll or Finance) to join our CGI team!

This position is located in Los Angeles, CA area, Phoenix, AZ, or Henderson, NV; however a hybrid working model is acceptable. This career opportunity is 75% Functional and 25% Technical. Role requires you to be flexible regarding travel (minimum 50%).

You will be helping with the CGI Advantage HR/Payroll/or Finance implementation for our clients.

Leveraging your analytical, HR, Payroll, Finance and enterprise resource planning (ERP) knowledge as a consult assisting our government clients to not only successfully implement ERP solutions but to help them gain the most benefit from their ERP investment.

Candidate would be a great individual contributor but relish working as a team player in a highly collaborative, modern agile implementation environment. Leverage your government HR or payroll experience and is unafraid to learn new tools and solutions to hone their craft and improve how they can make our clients successful.

You will serve as a Functional Business Analyst on our ERP projects for government clients. The successful candidate must have an understanding of at least four of the key areas in ERP systems:

• Benefits
• Benefits Administration
• Employee Records
• HR reporting (including ACA compliance)
• Payroll
• Finance
• Compensation
• Labor Relations
• Staffing Management
• Talent Management
• Recruiting
• Payroll Accounting
• Retirement
• W-2/W-4 Tax Reporting
• Experience with ERP systems (CGI Advantage, PeopleSoft, Oracle, SAP, Workday, etc.)
• Some technical knowledge of System Development Lifecycle (SDLC)

Your future duties and responsibilities:

How you'll make an impact
• Leading sessions to analyze business requirements to determine functional solutions

• Planning and managing resources to create functional design documents and other functional project deliverables

• Planning and leading fit-gap of current processes to future designed processes

• Developing business concept/designs for functionality to support client’s business requirements

• Resolving functional issues and providing functional support to the project team

• Planning and executing testing strategy for Unit, Integrated System and End-to-End testing as well as supporting User Acceptance testing

• Designing and testing reports and analytics to support client Business Intelligence requirements

• Collaborating with client independently to prepare participants for meeting sessions and to answer questions regarding their business functions as it relates to Advantage ERP

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

What you'll bring
Requires 4 to 6 years of experience implementing ERP systems e.g., SAP, Workday, PeopleSoft, Advantage and especially in HR/Payroll/Finance area.

Strong preference for experience with "CGI Advantage" --- Agile certification, such as SAFe certification, with related agile implementation experience.

We are seeking flexible candidates who have established backgrounds in the HR-Payroll-Finance functional areas and can support other areas such as change management and business process re-engineering.

Seeking someone who is self-motivated, able to adapt to changing project environments, be a standout colleague, be able to travel throughout the US West region and quickly ramp up to gain proficiency in CGI’s built for government ERP solution.

• Lead, coordinate and perform the functional task related to the System Development Lifecycle (SDLC)

• Translate the business case analysis and client requirements into design documents

• Document user stories, test plans, and test execution

• Coordinate and lead peer review sessions

• Consult with client about root causes of human resource software issues, and provide organized and systematic methods of solution implementation

• Mentor, influence, facilitate, present, communicate, develop, analyze, and problem solve

• Highly self-motivated

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Work in a virtual team environment

• Ability to work under deadline pressure

• Experience with User Centered Design would be useful

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $83,900 - $146,800.
