Position Summary:
The ERP Specialist will manage functions of enterprise resource planning (ERP) business process management software. This will allow ABEC to use integrated applications that automate many functions related to technology, services, and human resources, ultimately freeing up company manpower. The ERP Specialist provides support related to this function. It includes developing and integrating relevant ideas and assisting in resource-planning decisions. The ERP Specialist’s primary goal is to ensure their ERP software runs as smoothly and efficiently as possible and develop or identify solutions for any shortcomings. The ERP Specialist will assess the company’s business requirements and software needs for many areas, including employee training, business processes, and employee communication. They will ensure that any new solutions devised are time-and-cost-effective. The ERP Specialist is also responsible for ensuring that all levels of the company are informed and collaborating effectively on the implementation of the process. Hours will vary, but the ERP Specialist should be prepared to be on-call for technical emergencies. General duties will include software analysis, working with technical teams, developing design specifications for programs and presenting plans of action to management.
RequirementsResponsibilities:
· Provide implementation services, including process consulting, system configuration, testing, training, and project management support.
· Provide Tier1 User Support as the first point of contact for ERP software-based user issues.
· Identify and troubleshoot overall issues with the ERP system.
· Facilitate business process discussions between ABEC users and technical staff.
· Identify and scope ABEC users required system customizations.
· Ability to write SQL Queries and perform basic SQL customizations.
· Acquire and maintain a working knowledge of Infor ERP and supporting technologies.
· Train end users in specific modules of ERP application.
· Prepare necessary project documentation associated with implementation like user manuals, training videos, issue logs and their resolution.
· Execute other tasks as assigned.
· Ability to travel when required.
· Will play an active role in identifying and driving Continuous Improvement (CI) opportunity.
. Requirements:
· Bachelor’s Degree, Associate’s Degree, or Equivalent Job Experience with a concentration in a computer-related field such as Computer Science or Business Administration.
· Demonstrated knowledge of business analysis techniques and information technology principles.
· Familiarity and understanding of SQL Programming and SQL database management.
· Must possess excellent computer skills, proficient with Microsoft 365 and SharePoint.
· Awareness of and prior experience with implementing Continuous Improvement (CI) a plus.
· Prior Lean/Six Sigma experience a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Infor Syteline experience.
· Mongoose Development environment experience.
· Familiarity with C Sharp and Visual Basic.
