We are looking for an experienced ESD Engineer III to join our team. The ESD Engineer will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of electrostatic discharge (ESD) control programs for the Axiom Extravehicular Activity (EVA) Spacesuit. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ESD principles, industry standards, and hands-on experience with implementing ESD controls in manufacturing and testing environments. **DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES** + Develop, implement, and continuously improve comprehensive ESD control programs for the organization, ensuring all materials, equipment, and processes are compliant with industry standards and NASA (e.g., IEC 61340, NASA-HDBK-8739.21, ANSI/ESD S20.20) + Develops and executes ESD test plans + Develop and conduct ESD awareness and training sessions for employees, including proper handling of sensitive components, use of ESD protective equipment (e.g., wrist straps, mats), and adherence to ESD protocols + Investigate and analyze ESD-related failures, using root cause analysis techniques to determine the source of issues and recommend corrective actions.
