The ESG Business Operations Senior Analyst will partner across the global ESG team and with key enterprise stakeholders to advance ESG-related operational priorities. In this role, you will analyze business processes, identify areas for improvement, and help implement effective solutions. You will assist the ESG Business Operations group in prioritization and management of change items. You will gather and document business requirements from stakeholders and collaborate with cross-functional teams to design solutions that meet business needs. You will act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure clear communication and understanding. You will assist in the testing of new tools and processes to ensure they meet the specified requirements. You will create and maintain documentation on projects and processes. You will provide some project management support, including planning, monitoring, and reporting. You will also support broader initiatives to simplify and scale and drive operational excellence on the ESG team.

You demonstrate the ability to develop high quality written requirements, partnering with technology and data teams on delivery, and lead testing and feedback.
You have a strong working knowledge of a business operations function and in leveraging analytics to drive business impact.
You can manage projects with cross functional stakeholders, communicate clearly, balance the needs of diverse stakeholders, and deliver projects successfully and on time.
You are proficient in analytical tools (e.g., Excel, SQL) and visualization software (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
You demonstrate strong problem-solving, creativity and inter-personal skills.
You have a keen eye for detail and go above and beyond to produce high quality work with accuracy.
You have a minimum of 4 years’ experience as a business analyst, project manager, consultant, or related role, supporting projects and initiatives across multiple teams and groups.
A bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics or STEM related fields preferred.
Southern California Base Salary Range: $136,858-$218,973
New York Base Salary Range: $145,077-$232,123
In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital’s annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
