SEI is looking for a collaborative, results-driven individual to lead our ESG reporting strategy and data gathering processes along with building and enhancing our corporate sustainability program, working in close partnership with other leaders across our global business.

This individual will work with executive leadership to primarily develop and refine SEI’s reporting strategy as well as addressing corporate sustainability issues. Working cross-functionally, this individual will develop policies, standards, and practices to accurately report ESG requirements and enhance corporate sustainability strategies established by the company, and ensure that relevant teams across our organization have the tools, knowledge and resources to carry that vision forward. This role will report to the Chief Accounting Officer and Controller.

What you will do:

Reporting and Disclosure: Develop, implement and enforce SEI’s global sustainability reporting framework and integrate it into the Company’s financial reporting process including a SOX-like internal control framework over the ESG data gathering and reporting processes. Work closely with investor relations and other functions to support the production of SEI’s annual Corporate Social Responsibility and CDP reports. Ensure that SEI continues to follow best practices and applies leading frameworks to its disclosures. Support our global asset management businesses in the preparation of regulatory reports in connection with initiatives such as UK Task Force on Climate-Related Financial Disclosures, UK Stewardship Code and Principles for Responsible Investment.

Strategy: Work closely with leaders from across our business to develop, lead and enforce SEI’s corporate sustainability reporting strategy, ensuring alignment with current ESG frameworks established by the SEC and other global authorities including but not limited to operational and supply chain sustainability, ESG-related corporate risk assessment, corporate sustainability reporting, and sustainability-related regulatory compliance globally. Serve as a subject-matter expert to advise on corporate sustainability topics across our business.

Governance: Participate in SEI’s internal governance activities focused on corporate sustainability compliance, reporting and other sustainability matters, working with leaders from across SEI’s corporate functions. Work closely with the Chief Accounting Officer, Chief Risk Officer and Chief Financial Officer to support and facilitate senior executive oversight of sustainability reporting and ESG issues across the organization.

Risk Management: Work closely with the Enterprise Risk Management team to support annual climate and ESG risk assessments. Ensure methodologies meet best practice and provide insights and action plans to ensure appropriate management of identified ESG risks.

Stakeholder Engagement: Monitor client, investor, employee and other stakeholder expectations for corporate sustainability and ESG. Make recommendations to enhance programs to meet stakeholder needs as they evolve.
