You will work with business and finance stakeholders to ensure that HBCE’s (Continental Europe) external ESG disclosures are fair, balanced, understandable, and meet disclosure requirements. This role is a unique opportunity to work in an area of growing interest to regulators, investors, and the wider external market. Disclosure rules and regulation for ESG topics are evolving globally. There is a need to understand new and changing disclosure requirements, and how these can be best met through HBCE’s external reporting.
In this role you will:
You will actively support the design, execution and documentation of HBCE’s disclosure and related controls to ensure consistent, reliable and accurate reporting of non-financial data. Your main assignments but are not limited to:

Experience:
Minimum 6 years’ experience within Finance at a major institution, ideally with experience of quantitative and qualitative data analysis and new reporting requirementsKnowledge and experience in Pillar 3 and EU Taxonomy is preferable though not essentialCommercial outlook – able to connect numbers, performance drivers and ‘real world’ eventsHighly-motivated, diligent, collaborative, personable and capable of working independently and exercising judgmentProject management skills, including creating lean processes and governance structuresStrong people and communication skills – able to develop and articulate a viewpoint when working with a broad range of stakeholdersAble to prioritise tasks, resolve problems and respond effectively to emerging issues.Able effectively to work effectively within a complex, global organisationQualifications:
Quantitative degree, ideally with professional education in FinanceSkills:
