ESIS is seeking a Claims Assistant in Las Vegas, to report to the Operations Team Leader.
Note: This is a hybrid position requiring 3 days in the Las Vegas office and 2 days working from home.
Key Objective:
Under limited supervision, performs customer service and/or claims processing functions, Operational Tasks, special projects and Daily Propriety Audits to ensure the legitimacy, accuracy and proper payment authority for Claim Payments made
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Duties may include, but are not limited to: Performs Daily Propriety Audits to ensure the legitimacy, accuracy and proper payment authority of Claim Payments Track and attest to the daily audit results Communicate errors to individuals making payments Ensure the timely correction of errors Verify that errors have been corrected. Report daily findings to management Pulling, reviewing, and preparing financial reports in collaboration with other ESIS offices across the US Responsible for Office State Form filing and assisting with multiple Operational tasks Index and organize claim file documents in a timely manner 2-4 years Claims Support experience. Ability to operate and contribute positively in a team-based environment. Good written and oral communication skills including effective telephone skills. Ability to work independently under limited supervision. Superior organizational and analytical skills and the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities. Demonstrated initiative as evidenced by the ability to self-manage, organize and prioritize work. Strong working knowledge of computer systems and various Microsoft applications such as Word, Outlook and Excel. Committed to high standards of behavior and performance.An applicable resident or designated home state adjuster’s license is required for ESIS Field Claims Adjusters. Adjusters that do not fulfill the license requirements will not meet ESIS’s employment requirements for handling claims. ESIS supports independent self-study time and will allow up to 4 months to pass the adjuster licensing exam.
The pay range for the role is $35,000 to $59,000. The specific offer will depend on an applicant’s skills and other factors.
