ESL Teacher - January 2025The Job EF’s dynamic Tarrytown school is looking for an energetic, outgoing teacher to fill a short-term contract, starting in January 2025. This role has potential of becoming a long-term position. Newly qualified teachers are welcome to apply. We are looking for someone who is highly motivated, proactive, and positive to join our international school staff. The ability to provide exceptional customer service to large volumes of students on a daily basis is a key requirement alongside excellent planning and organizational skills.Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to: Teach scheduled contact hours as scheduled by Academic Management Provide high quality classes using our EF blended learning program Complete the necessary administrative work required for classes in a timely manner Prepare materials and resources relevant to your classes, including handouts, quizzes, tests, and assignments as needed for each course Help students with queries they may have and communicate this with the appropriate departmentsActively participate in teacher meetings and all staff development activities Successful candidates will have the following   Bachelor's degree  TEFL certificate (CELTA or equivalent preferred) Native or proficient level English (C2 level) Experience with standardized ESL exams, such as TOEFL, IELTS or Cambridge is a plus
