As a First Mile Quality Specialist, you will drive the process standardization on-site. You will be the link between station management and the ACES team (Amazon Customer Excellence Systems). As a member of the First Mile team, you will contribute to the optimization of the seller processing centers' operations, providing the station with sufficient knowledge and appropriate tools to help improve performance.
Your goal is to solve complex problems through simple and practical solutions by developing a deep knowledge of operational processes. Creating effective communication plans to provide visibility to all impacted teams within the organization will help you enable overall process alignment.
Main responsibilities:
As the firsthand contact for station management regarding process improvements and benchmarks, you will work on effective change processes and contribute to network standardization via best practice sharing. You are in charge of monitoring logistics and delivery success through set in-station and on-road performance indicators. You will set up action plans and execute them to drive current performance to benchmark rates.
In this position, you are a key driver for successful order execution, thus positively influencing customer satisfaction.
Contribute to audit initiatives and support results-driven action planning.
Contribute to the deployment of Process Standard implementations and upgrades within the SPCs and pickup nodes, partnering with station management and multiple stakeholders.
Support the development and continuous piloting of process improvements and ongoing benchmark initiatives.
Ensure station management understands benchmark rates and is trained on technical configurations to drive accurate reporting and productivity boosts.
This role will be based in the SPC (Seller Processing Center) and requires willingness to work non-traditional shifts, including nights.
Key job responsibilities
- Plan and implement continuous improvement initiatives designed to innovate the associate and driver experience and make our processes more efficient;
- Audit processes for compliance and work to close any identified gaps;
- Analyze feedback and leverage data to drive and implement process improvements at the site;
- Collaborate with station management and other stakeholders to identify and resolve process-related issues.

As a First Mile Quality Specialist, you’ll be at the forefront of improving Amazon’s logistics by enhancing safety, productivity, and quality. Part of your role will involve conducting observations and audits to identify areas for process improvement. Another key aspect of your role will be to recommend changes and leverage your project management and stakeholder engagement skills to implement new processes.
You’ll be based at one of our sites, responsible for driving operational efficiency. When needed, you will visit other local or national sites to conduct analysis.
