GETTING A FLYING START
As a ESS Engineer, you will responsible for all ESS (Equipment Supply and Services) purchasing & sourcing activities in D&U China.
HOW YOU MAKE AN IMPACT
1.Fully responsible for D&U China ES&S purchasing & sourcing activities, including equipment, facilities, MRO, packing & transportation, Marcom, professional services, IT HW/SW/Service, travel & fleet, waste disposal etc.
2.Responsible for ES&S purchasing & sourcing strategy and supplier management, including supplier sourcing, relationship with suppliers, performance review, price management etc.
3.Lead tenders, contracting, negotiation and risk assessment to secure the supply at a reasonable price with good quality in line with Nexans E3 model
4.Liaise with Group category managers for ES&S categories to ensure best conditions are met
5.Closely work with PSS (Purchasing Shared Service) team in ES&S procurement;
6.Keep close communication between suppliers and key stakeholders to meet business requirements
7.Market intelligence collection, reporting and meetings
8.Implement and improve process to meet compliance requirements.
9.Other purchasing & sourcing tasks assigned by supervisor
YOUR STARTING POINTS WHEN YOU JOIN
1.Bachelor’s degree or above, 3 years or above relevant purchasing and sourcing experience in indirect purchasing area. Cable industry is preferred
2.English language should be fluent both in the spoken and written
3.The knowledge of principles, practices, and functions of effective purchasing & sourcing management
4.Good negotiation skills and the ability to build long-term partnership with suppliers.
