Internship Position: Teleport Systems technician/engineering Assistant
Job Summary: The intern will assist in the maintenance, development, and quality assurance of electrical, electronic, telecommunications and IT systems within the organization. This role involves collaborating with senior engineers to ensure compliance with technical standards, participating in the assessment of system safety and reliability, maintenance and support to operations and contributing to the innovation of new solutions in these domains.
Responsibilities:
Assist in the installation and maintenance of electrical, telecommunications and IT equipment.
Conduct basic diagnostics and troubleshoot issues as well as support to maintenance and operation activities in electronic, telecommunications and IT systems.
Support the development and implementation of procedures to ensure safety and reliability of systems.
Monitor and document compliance with safety and performance regulations.
Participate in routine checks of systems to identify potential hazards or inefficiencies.
Collaborate on projects to design and optimize the Teleport equipment and procedures.
Assist in maintaining updated technical documentation and records of system performance.
Provide support in emergency response planning and drills related to the teleport activities.
Engage in the testing and evaluation of new technologies and systems.
Requirements:
Enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree program (level IV or higher) in Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunications, IT or a related field.
Basic knowledge of regulatory standards in electrical and telecommunications systems.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic IT tools.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Willingness to learn and adapt to a dynamic technical environment.
Availability for flexible working hours, if required.
Preferred Skills:
Knowledge of basic circuit design and analysis.
Familiarity with telecommunications protocols and systems.
Hands-on experience in laboratory settings or small-scale projects involving electronics and electricity.
