By entering this domain, you position yourself at the heart of IBM, where growth and innovation thrive. **Your role and responsibilities** As a design intern, you will focus on meeting the needs of IBM Research Design and Think Lab, assisting in the creation and execution of in-person and digital experiences and graphic pieces, presenting our cutting-edge technologies and their application to our clients. You will think of the most different ways to co-create local content to promote the Research Lab's activities inside and outside IBM. In this role, you will join a diverse and motivated team to connect our IBM Research team with our clients, making what's next in computing actionable for our clients. We expect you to lead some activities and be very active within the team - planned activities are as follows, but not limited to: -Involvement in co-creation workshops -Promoting events for the IBM ecosystem -Involvement in user experience design of digital tools to validate technologies and explore potential IBM Research applications -Creating user journey maps, user flows, information architecture, site maps and wireframes to define user experiences. **Required technical and professional expertise** Technical and professional expertise required: - Must be in the 2nd year of a university course in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, User Experience or related courses - Knowledge of Adobe Suite (mainly Illustrator) - Basic knowledge of Figma - Intermediate command of the English language (both verbal and written) - Demonstrated ability to approach complex problems derived from real-world use cases and design, build and validate effective solutions - Teamwork, initiative, motivation, creativity and willingness to learn - Strong sense of cooperation and teamwork - Strong sense of time management and prioritization of activities **Preferred technical and professional experience** Additional technical and professional expertise - Basic knowledge of Agile and Design Thinking - Interest and curiosity in learning about emerging technologies (Foundation Models, Artificial Intelligence, Quantum Computing, etc.)
