Your role.
Your work will include, but not be limited to:
Review client estate planning documents Prepare and manage client gift tax returns Coordinate estate planning illustrations and deliverables documenting a client’s estate plan and calculation of estate tax Create and present internally and externally on estate tax related topicsAssist with other various client projects, including advanced estate planning for clients with the use of GRATs, IDITs, LLCs, etc.Work with Family Legacy team to proactively manage the tax planning process with the client to optimize the wealth management goals of the client/family
Research and consult on various estate and gift tax matters, utilize tax-related software to prepare estate tax projections for advance estate tax strategies, and research tax matters
The qualifications.
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related business field5+ years of recent estate planning experience in public accounting or equivalent experienceCPA or JD preferredModerate understanding of fiduciary and estate tax planning and complianceExperience with high net worth individuals, S-corporations, C-corporations, partnerships, LLCs, trusts, and private foundations is required with the emphasis on high net worth individuals
