- Estimate equipment´s cost based on standard rates and according to the customer´s specifications.
- Estimation of pump’s cost, following the estimating guidelines, and assuring a profitable operation.
- Analyze the shipping arrangements based on proposed equipment, determining size and weights of the packing boxes according to equipment in order to evaluate along with the logistic department to determine freight cost, packing cost, and point of shipment according with the Incoterm negotiated in the customer´s contract.
- To evaluate if the pump will be shipped totally assembled or will require to be shipped in parts in order to define the number of containers to be considered in the pump’s price.
- Determination of the freight insurance cost in coordination with the logistic department.
- Advise to Commercial Operations and/or Sales Offices pricing and lead time of new equipment and provide clarifications and respond questions that might arise from the salesman or the customer in timely way.
