How do you excel in this position\n

Your primary responsibilities will include utilizing computer estimating systems and related software to accurately estimate plan\/spec and design\/build HVAC systems. You'll be tasked with maintaining comprehensive estimating logs and unit costs for all projects, while also establishing and nurturing vendor relationships crucial to project success. Conducting site surveys and participating in pre-bid walkthroughs will be part of your routine to ensure thorough project understanding. Additionally, you'll collaborate closely with sales and project management teams, ensuring projects are executed within budget and in alignment with plans and specifications.\n

What are we looking for\n\nAssociates degree in business or engineering. \n5 + years of estimating experience in the HVAC industry with a proven track record is required.\nAbility to read and comprehend blueprints and other construction documents.\nKnowledge of different types of HVAC systems and their components.\nPossess strong verbal and written communication skills\nThorough understanding of related trades for the purposes of coordinating various project estimates.\nWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office products\n\n

Additional skills preferred but not required \n\nBachelors degree. \n\n
