Estimator
Our client (owner) is looking for an Estimator (contractor) to support the development of their CAPEX project within the Energy Transition.

Our client is currently working on the development of new Bio-Energy Plant in the Netherlands. 

Responsibilities: 
•    Prepare multi-disciplinary cost estimates for a large project in (now front end) phase of development.
•    Discuss, coordinate, and resolve estimating input/queries with the project team to ensure quality estimate.
•    Ensure all assumptions / clarifications on estimates are properly documented.
•    Provide support for any selection and optimization study during project development.
•    Support the project team in the identification, evaluation and capture of capital efficiency opportunities and estimate risks.
•    Support to identify risks and participate in mitigation planning.
•    Perform cost reconciliation to previous estimates a the project develops.
•    Perform complete analysis and cost validations using internal and external benchmarking data, historical indices, and component benchmarking.
•    Support the development of escalation forecasts.
•    Support the development and estimating policies and procedures.
•    Contribute to close-out data collection to enable knowledge retention.

Requested:
•    Bachelor’s degree in engineering and/or Certification as a Estimator or equivalent on-the-job development
•    Minimum 10 years refinery or petrochemical industry experience in estimating capital projects
•    Experience using standard software applications such as Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, and preferably PowerBI
•    Good to have: experience in using cost estimation software such as Aspen CCE
•    English language is required. Dutch is an advantage
•    Permitted to work in the Netherlands
