**Estimator – Technical Glass Products – Snoqualmie, WA**
The Estimator represents the first stage of the sales process, thus Sales Support Department, reporting to the Sales Support Manager. This position is responsible for reviewing, calculating and processing a high volume of very technical and sometimes complex frame and glass quote requests daily within a specified time frame. This role will have application engineering responsibilities on engineer to order jobs.
The Estimator utilizes specific software programs, such as Microsoft Office, Excel, V-6, CRM, D365 and other estimating systems to complete the job. The position is required to handle administrative duties and work independently in a fast-paced environment. Daily interaction with Territory Managers, Territory Account Managers, and light communication experience with customers will be required. Must have a professional attitude, eye for detail, good math aptitude, and heavy data processing/computer skills.
**Work Hours** : Typically, 7:30 am – 4:30 pm, 40 hours per week required. Opportunity for overtime as needed.
**What You Will Do:**
+ Read and review detailed specifications and evaluate scope of projects daily.
+ Collaborate to determine and recommend the appropriate product selections for projects as necessary.
+ Read and understand customer blueprint drawings and formulate estimates based on these drawings.
+ Enter customer information using Microsoft Office software, V-6, CRM, D365 and other TGP estimating software systems.
+ Use price configuration information to calculate and draft estimates generally within 48 hours.
+ Determine and resolve any issues, concerns or problems within the customer job requests.
+ Interpret requirements and special instructions from the Territory Managers and Territory Account Managers and implement those instructions in the estimate.
+ Prepare, process, review and monitor various documents, such as price quotes, job orders, etc. Ensure back-up documentation for quotes are properly saved and filed.
+ Process formal quotes; present and support conclusions to the sales team.
+ Maintain an excellent working knowledge of TGP frame systems and glazing products and troubleshoot and fix problems and issues as they arise.
+ Produce formal quotations based on qualifications and special instructions provided by the Territory Mangers and Territory Account Managers. The functions, procedures and processes of this position warrant close contact with co-workers and peers daily and require a flexible congenial personality working together and assisting others in a highly team-oriented atmosphere.
**What You Need to Succeed:**
+ High School diploma or equivalent is required. Associate or bachelor’s degree in business, construction, or supply chain is preferred.
+ 4+ years of data entry, computer software knowledge and good customer service capabilities are required.
+ Product knowledge from a technical and performance standpoint, involving fire-rated glazing, vertical and horizontal framing systems and channel glass applications is required.
+ Good mathematical skills and attention to detail and accuracy a must due to the nature of this high-end product analysis
+ Ability to work with TGP’s price structure configuration system and various software platforms for efficient and accurate quote generation.
+ Good organizational and time management skills to successfully handle and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously with personal and other glass estimator’s workloads.
+ High degree of self-motivation and the ability to prioritize daily workload based on customer requests and demands, and ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
+ Ability to prepare formal quotations in a fast paced and dynamic atmosphere with motivation, commitment, pride in work striving for positive results.
+ Strong team orientation, flexibility and initiative and the ability to work collectively with all departments and customers, a must. Ability to establish and maintain a professional and effective working relationship with those you meet daily.
+ Excellent oral and written communication skills. Self-assurance and assertiveness in supporting and presenting conclusions is helpful.

**Employment Type** : Full time, hourly non-exempt
**Compensation:** This range is provided by Allegion. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experiences.
+ The expected Base Hourly Range: $26.44 - $30.24.The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
