Job Description
Insight Global is looking for an Estimator for a large environmental construction company in Concord, CA. This candidate will be hands-on with reviewing proposal request, performing take-offs, attending site walks, formulating estimates, obtaining and evaluating quotes from subcontractors and vendors, and preparing formal written proposals. This candidate will be expected to work independently on small and mid-size projects for both private and public sector clients. This candidate will be a part of an estimating team and will also assist the team lead on larger proposal efforts. This position will be about 75% in the office but the ability for travel is required for this opening as a part of the NorCal office there is occasional travel required to SoCal or possibly out of state for bid walks and meetings.

Skills and Requirements
· 5-10+ years of experience within Estimating and/or Project Management
· Experience within contaminated soil with a strong understanding of environmental remediation
· Comfortable being client-facing
· Willingness to travel throughout California for bid walks and meetings with occasional out-of-state travel
· Ability to analyze and resolve complex construction engineering or design problems
· Experience using estimating and take-off software
· Experience writing proposals
Ability to read and interpret site plans · OSHA 40-hour certification
· Bachelor's degree in civil/environmental engineering, geology, environmental science, or a related field
· Experience with remediation on large scale projects
Previous hands-on experience overseeing field and superintendent/foreman/project management personnel null
