Job Description Insight Global is looking for an Estimator for a large environmental construction company in Concord, CA. This candidate will be hands on with reviewing proposal request, perform take-offs, attend site walks, formulate estimates, obtain and evaluate quotes from subcontractors and vendors, and draft formal written proposals. This candidate will be expected to work independently on small and mid-size projects for both private and public sector clients. This candidate will be a part of an estimation team and will also assist the estimating team lead on larger opportunities. This position will be about 75% in the office but the ability for travel is required for this opening as a part of the NorCal office there is occasional travel required to SoCal or possibly out of state for bid walks and meetings. Skills and Requirements - 5-10+ years of experience within Estimation or Project Management  - Experience within hazardous soil with an understanding of environmental remediation  - Comfortable being client facing  - Willingness to travel throughout California for bid walks and meetings with occasional out-of-state travel  - Ability to analyze and resolve complex construction engineering or design problems Experience using estimating software like Bluebeam or something similar - OSHA 40 or an equivalent certification  - Bachelor's degree in civil/environmental engineering or a related field  - Experience with remediation of large buildings and/or projects  - Previous hands on experience overseeing field and superintendent/foreman/project management personnel Ability to read and interpret site plans null We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
