Join our dynamic NSW Industrial Team as a Project Estimator! In this role, you'll be at the forefront of delivering accurate and competitive estimates, ensuring our tender outcomes are nothing short of spectacular. Plus, you'll play a key role in enhancing our cutting-edge estimating software and governance processes.

 

What You'll Do: 

•    Lead the Way: Determine and publish estimating/planning requirements.
•    Strategize: Establish estimating bid plans and schedules.
•    Collaborate: Coordinate third-party pricing enquiries.
•    Create: Prepare, complete and present project estimates.
•    Innovate: Participate in project risk review workshops.
•    Contribute: Add to the industry estimates norms database.
•    Support: Assist the commercial team with pro-forma pricing schedules for suppliers and subcontractors.
•    Review: Participate and present estimates in management reviews.
•    Maintain Excellence: Keep all quality/estimating records up to date.
•    Communicate: Provide handover and debrief of estimate build-up to project managers, engineers, and workshop supervisors.
•    Adhere: Follow company policies and procedures.

 

What You Bring: 

•    Qualifications: Tertiary and/or trade qualifications in mechanical, electrical, or civil disciplines. Experience in structural, mechanical, piping fabrication, and installation is a must.
•    Expertise: Comprehensive knowledge of estimation principles and practices.
•    Tech-Savvy: Experience using estimating software and high-level computer skills, including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, and/or P6.
•    Insight: Contract/commercial interpretation experience.
