Job Title: EstimatorJob Description Analyze project plans, specifications, and other documentation to prepare comprehensive cost estimates. Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to gather necessary information for estimates. Identify and quantify cost factors, such as production time, materials, and labor expenses. Prepare and present detailed cost breakdowns and bid proposals. Monitor and update estimates as project details change. Evaluate and negotiate subcontractor and supplier bids. Maintain a database of historical cost data for future reference. Assist in the preparation of project budgets and schedules. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. Essential Skills + Estimation + Construction + Estimating software + Bidding + Blueprint + Preconstruction Additional Skills & Qualifications + Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field + Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Construction Estimator + Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and cost estimation techniques + Excellent analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills + Proficiency in estimation software and tools + Strong communication and negotiation skills + Attention to detail and accuracy Work Environment In office setting in Reading, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $120000.00/yr. PTO, medical, dental, vision, 401k - Direct Placement - Company benefits brochure can be provided to candidates.
