Estimator - ARB, Inc.

ARB, Inc. is looking for an experienced Estimator to support our Estimating team. Ideal candidates will have experience with all levels of the estimating process (from project development and planning, to supporting revisions and project turnover); a teamwork mentality coupled with natural leadership abilities; a knack for keeping an eye on the details. This is an in-office position which will be based out of our Lake Forest office.

Responsibilities

Prepare all levels of estimates for EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) projects, mainly related to industrial construction. Lead the estimating effort during the project development phase. Plan and organize the estimating activities and tasks. Interface and collaborate with Estimate team members to gather necessary information. Consolidate individual estimates into a comprehensive final cost estimate. Participate in estimate reviews to ensure accuracy and completeness. Support revisions and adjustments to estimates during contract negotiations. Ensure estimate conformance at the award stage. Facilitate the kick-off and turnover process to project controls. Support the development and validation of change orders. Develop and maintain control estimates throughout the project lifecycle. Prepare model estimates and manage closeouts at project completion.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or related field and 5 years of estimating experience (relevant experience may be substituted for the degree requirement) Thorough understanding of all phases of the estimating process in an industrial construction environment Demonstrated attention to detail Proficiency with Estimating Software, Microsoft Excel, Bluebeam

Compensation/Benefits
