Estimator

Position Overview: The Estimator is responsible for providing timely and accurate cost estimates to customers. They will review and analyze customer specifications and requirements in order to accurately estimate the materials, labor, and other costs associated with a project. The Estimator will need to be knowledgeable of industry standards, trends, and pricing in order to complete estimates.

Key Responsibilities:

Review customer product specifications and requirements to determine scope and cost of project.Utilize estimating software to create and send detailed cost estimates.Develop and maintain pricing sheets and cost databases for commonly quoted items.Research and analyze cost data in order to provide accurate and competitive estimates.

 

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in a related field or equivalent experience in Estimating.Comsense experienceDivision 8 (Doors and hardware experience)Minimum 2 years experience in estimating and cost analysis.Proficiency with Doors and Hardware, Comsense, or other Estimating softwares.Strong understanding of industry trends and pricing.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
