Estimator Project Manager
Job Title: Construction Estimator
Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Construction Estimator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for various construction projects. This role requires a strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and cost estimation, as well as leadership and team management skills.

ResponsibilitiesPrepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for construction projects.Understand and analyze construction processes, materials, and costs.Manage project budgets, forecasts, and cost control measures.Utilize construction management software and tools for estimating and project management.Coordinate with subcontractors and project teams to ensure project requirements are met.Review and interpret blueprints, specifications, and other project documentation.Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations, including OSHA certification or similar safety certifications.Lead and manage a team effectively, providing direction and support as needed.Travel to job sites, client meetings, and industry events as required.Work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, depending on project needs.Essential SkillsStrong leadership and team management skills.Proficiency in construction management software and tools.Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.Estimating and organizational abilities.Experience in construction, project management, and commercial construction.Knowledge of safety standards and regulations, with OSHA certification preferred.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with subcontractor management and project coordination.Knowledge of site development, bidding, and preconstruction processes.Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.Proficiency in software such as Bluebeam and other estimating tools.Mechanical estimation and RFI experience.General contractor supervision experience.OSHA 30 certification preferred.Work Environment

This position reports to the Vice-President of Construction. The role requires working in both office and field environments, with travel to job sites, client meetings, and industry events. The ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, is necessary depending on project requirements. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $38.46 - $57.69
