Ethics & Compliance Manager (m/f/d) Key Responsibilities Works with the Ethics and Compliance Officers to help GSK leaders of designated departments to lead the implementation of a compliance program which builds and embeds a values-based culture in a way that supports GSK strategies and principles Partners with business leaders to proactively identify, evaluate and manage risks in accordance with GSK’s internal control framework and in a way, that enables sustainable business growth (Risk Management and support the local RMCB & Country Executive Board meetings) Assisting the implementation of global compliance programs by translating global requirements into local specifications, including any relevant training Working in collaboration with the Ethics and Compliance Officer, with other governance groups (eg Medical, Legal, Quality, HR, Finance) to develop integrated compliance solutions, ensuring together that LOC operations are aligned and compliant with applicable Codes and Regulations (internal and external) As a member of the Compliance team, ensures that proper internal controls are in place and in use by independently assessing the framework (continuous improvement of the local Internal Control Framework); supports the business in the development and implementation of the Management Monitoring and Independent Business Monitoring plan to ensure controls operate effectively and gaps identified are appropriately remediated. Supporting the closure of local Corrective and Preventative Actions (CAPAs) coming from internal audits, internal & external investigations, Independent Business Monitoring in conjunction with the Ethics and Compliance Officer Supports the delivery of Ethics & Compliance training to all levels of organization in collaboration with the Ethics and Compliance Officer Requirements: University Degree (Bachelor or Master) in a specialization such as Business Administration, life sciences, Risk Management or Legal (preferred, but also other university degrees welcome) Previous experience in Compliance and / or Risk Management (beneficial) Fluent German (min. C1 level) and English language proficiency Preferred qualifications & skills: Experience within the pharma industry (advantageous, other industry also welcome) Extensive knowledge & experience with compliance and risk & control programmes and processes Demonstrated effective risk management, process improvement, and/or project management skills Able to communicate at a senior level Project management skills to drive multiple initiatives across multiple departments simultaneously Track record in providing high degree of self-reliance, accountability, and value-added consultation/support to senior business managers and other support functions Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence individuals at all levels of the organisation to work in accordance with company values Superior listening skills, analytical ability to diagnose problems, resolve conflict and develop practical solutions #EBDE #LI-GSK Why GSK?
