In this key role, you will develop and enhance our ethics and human rights programs, ensuring we not only comply with international standards but set new benchmarks for responsible business conduct. If you have a strong understanding of global ethics and human rights frameworks and experience with best practices in these areas, we’d love to hear from you. **Job Responsibilities** As the Ethics & Human Rights Lead, you will be responsible for the Danfoss Ethics Handbook and Human Rights Program, ensuring continuous improvement and alignment with our company values and strategic objectives. You will play a key role in representing Danfoss in external human rights organizations and managing internal ethics and human rights-related complaints. Your key responsibilities include: + Ensuring compliance with human rights-related legislation while exceeding customer expectations to create business opportunities. + Developing, implementing, and overseeing Human Rights Due Diligence processes, while monitoring their effectiveness. + Collaborating with key stakeholders across HR, Communications, Procurement, and other departments to integrate ethics and human rights into our global operations. + Issuing compliance statements, such as the Modern Slavery Act statement, and contributing to annual reports. + Owning the content of the Ethics Handbook which outlines Danfoss business conduct. + Conducting training sessions for employees and leaders on ethics and human rights, serving as a trusted advisor on ethical issues. **Background & Skills** You are an empathetic and ethical professional with a high degree of integrity and the ability to navigate diverse perspectives effectively. You are self-driven, structured, and persistent—while also bringing a good sense of humor to your work. With a strategic mindset, you excel in high-level analysis, critical thinking, and sound judgment. You thrive in a matrix organization and have experience driving initiatives and delivering results without direct authority. Your strong communication skills enable you to translate complex ethics and human rights issues into clear business language. Furthermore, you have: + A university degree in a related field, international law, international politics. + Several years of experience managing high-level areas of responsibility, where you have proactively driven improvements, delivered results, and influenced decision-making—preferably within a large corporation. + Experience in corporate compliance, governance, and sustainability, with solid knowledge of international human rights frameworks (e.g., UN Global Compact, Modern Slavery Acts).
