This role is hybrid and requires you to be at our downtown Toronto office and/or Client office at a minimum 5 days per month - subject to change at any time.
• Design, develop, and optimize ETL pipelines and workflows in Azure Databricks.
• Develop and implement distributed data processing solutions using PySpark.
• Work with structured and unstructured data to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and performance optimization.
• Collaborate with data engineering teams to ingest and transform data from diverse sources (e.g., Azure Data Lake, SQL Server, APIs).
• Implement advanced analytics capabilities using Databricks' machine learning and AI features.
• Develop and manage Delta Lake and other data storage layers to enable high-performance data querying.
• Perform data transformation, cleansing, and aggregation to support data science and business intelligence initiatives.
• Implement best practices for data governance, security, and compliance in Azure Databricks.
• Debug, monitor, and troubleshoot data pipelines to ensure scalability and reliability.
• Stay updated with the latest Databricks and Azure features and tools to implement improvements.
Must have:
• Azure Functions, Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, Azure Key Vault, Azure Data Bricks, Notebooks, ADLS, Delta Lake, Python, PySpark, Scala, SQL, Agile methodology, Azure DevOps(CI/CD Pipeline)/GitHub
