EU Payroll Manager

Job Description:

As an EU Payroll Manager, you will be responsible for delivering payroll services in full accordance with the process requirements and legal regulations for dedicated cluster and supports the development of a world-class Service & Finance function through attracting, retaining, engaging and motivating associates.  You will also improve and oversee the effectiveness of internal controls for all Payroll transactions and ensure that the appropriate payroll processing and accounting procedures are followed. As an EU Payroll Manager, you will be an expert in the payroll industry and provide valuable insights to the business units and other internal stakeholders such as MyP&O, Global Mobility, and Benefits.  You will also drive process improvements, automation, and standardization through leading a team of payroll associates.

University degree preferred

Knowledge and experience of Payroll is a must

Knowledge of, and experience in project and people leadership

Good communication and interpersonal skills

Excellent planning and organizational skills; ability to organize workload

Excellent attention to detail

Dedicated to meeting the expectations and requirements of customers

Good written and verbal communication skills

Ability to work as part of a team and  using own initiative

What will be your key responsibilities?

Coordinating the work of a dedicated payroll team (setting goals, overseeing execution, performance evaluations, recruitment)

Collaborating with an external payroll service provider within the assigned region

Coordinating the team in payroll processes (both local and global), employee services processes, and administration of non-salary benefits

Responsibility for the salary payment process

Verifying data and payroll lists

Supporting Management in labor law and remuneration matters

Coordinating the process of recording and settling working hours

Participating in internal and external audits

Preparing reports and summaries for business needs

Reviewing and updating internal processes to ensure their efficiency and smooth execution of payroll processes

Ensure stakeholders are informed of the progress of key activities

Update documentation and capture process changes
