EU Regulatory Policy Executive

The successful candidate will contribute to the delivery of EU regulatory policy, advocacy, and intelligence activities to enable advancement and life cycle management of GSK’s biopharmaceutical portfolio. This role will also support the interface between LOCs in the Europe region and GRA in regulatory policy and intelligence activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the regulatory affairs function, the drug development process, and knowledge of regulatory policy and intelligence in the EU context. Discover more about our company wide benefits and life at GSK on our webpage Life at GSK | GSK In this role you will Provide interpretation and advice on the possible impact on GSK of legislation, EMA and other regulatory guidelines, and policies in support of the GSK biopharmaceutical portfolio. Contribute to the development and implementation of plans and actions to influence regulatory opinion leaders in the external environment. Maintain awareness of regulatory trends and build links with key external stakeholders and networks including regulatory agencies, industry trade associations, and multi-stakeholder initiatives. Liaise with central GRA teams and regulatory strategists to interpret emerging intelligence for the region and formulate policy and advocacy strategies to support key assets. Provide high quality, timely and comprehensive regulatory intelligence outputs to support asset teams and business requirements. Advance GSK’s policy objectives and positions in industry trade association working groups and meetings. Why you? Basic Qualifications & Skills: We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals: Degree in Life Science. Knowledge of the regulatory affairs function/role and the drug development process. Knowledge of regulatory policy and intelligence in the EU context. Knowledge of drug development process and laws, regulations and practices affecting the pharmaceutical industry in the EU. Preferred Qualifications & Skills: Please note the following skills are not necessary, just preferred, if you do not have them, please still apply: Good communication skills. Proven ability to communicate (written/oral) in English tailoring information appropriately. Responds with confidence and in a timely manner to questions from asset teams and other business functions. Positive attitude, good team player, able to work in multinational and multicultural teams. Ability to present persuasive arguments to facilitate influencing and negotiating with internal and external stakeholders. Ability to translate regulations into simple messages that articulate the impact on the business. Experience / knowledge of oncology.
