EU Works Manager

We currently have an opportunity for an EU Works Manager. Join our Base and Estate Management team and play a key role in ensuring the effective delivery of Facilities Management services, maintaining compliance with safety and regulatory standards, optimizing resource efficiency, and fostering strong stakeholder relationships to support operational excellence. Reporting to EU Service Delivery Manager, you'll help deliver high-quality outcomes that support our essential services.

 

What You’ll Do
This role offers a broad scope, with key responsibilities including:

Oversee the planning, scheduling, and delivery of Performance-Based, Scheduled, and Responsive Maintenance, ensuring service efficiency and compliance. Lead and coordinate in-house tradespeople and subcontractors, ensuring work is delivered to quality, safety, and contractual standards. Implement Zero Harm initiatives, conduct risk assessments, and ensure adherence to legislation, standards, and Integrated Management System (IMS) protocols. Maximize labour efficiency, cost savings, and operational productivity, ensuring sustainable cost management and continuous improvement. Collaborate with internal teams, contractors, and Defence personnel to enhance service delivery, workforce capability, and operational excellence.

 

What You’ll Bring

Ability to obtain a Defence security clearance (Australian citizenship mandatory) Technical expertise and trade or tertiary training in either building maintenance, mechanical or electrical services. Demonstrated experience in the delivery of Facilities Management, including managing tradespeople and subcontractors. Strong knowledge of Facilities Management contract principles, statutory obligations, and relevant WHS and Industrial Relations regulations. Knowledge of statutory obligations, Codes of practice and Building Code of Australia.
