This position is responsible to lead the Europe/Latin America Regions for the Marketing & Sales Domain for Opella. This role has eight regional buyer direct reports covering all marketing & sales sub-categories. This role reports directly to the Global Domain Head, Marketing & Sales Procurement.
The Regional Lead of EULA – Marketing & Sales would have responsibility of overall business partnering with the Regional Leadership team, creating local strategy and full accountability to deliver all procurement KPIs for Marketing & Sales across the sub-categories. There will also be responsibility to regionalize and implement global category strategies. This role will act as the SPOC for the region for the senior leadership regional teams.
The key focus of this role is to collaborate with the global category team in formulating pragmatic and effective strategies combined with a robust approach / implementation plan in alignment with the regional stakeholders and drive the projects in the region. The candidate would demonstrate maturity to navigate in complex environments, a strong leadership & business acumen to drive priority initiatives for delivering the cost savings & maximum value to the business.

Translate global marketing categories vision, strategy and projects in the region and execute to ensure delivery aligned with the targets
Drive the development of new market innovation opportunities (new suppliers and technologies).
Integrate sustainability strategic objectives into local project plans, be accountable for achieving domain targets in your region
Leadership
Direct management of five regional buyers covering all marketing & sales sub-categories
Provide strategic guidance and mentorship to the direct reports and to the marketing procurement network.
Create an integrated and effective marketing procurement network within the region - working towards common objectives.
As a member of the Procurement Marketing & Sales domain leadership team, actively contribute in driving the domain agenda
Contribute in upskill marketing sourcing capabilities for all buyers and peers across the region.
Contract & Relationship Management
Lead regional supplier relationship management (SRM) and lead negotiations on regional sourcing cases. Interface directly with regional supplier CEOs and leadership to assure objectives are met.
Set regional and local KPIs and monitor supplier performance. Continuously drive improvements in performance of the suppliers in all relevant areas of service level, costs, delivery, quality.
Ensure compliance with master service agreements
Escalate / manage issues that may impact the global Marketing and Sales procurement
Ensure that risk management assessment and risk mitigation strategies are in place in close collaboration with the business
Business Collaboration & Partnering
Responsible to lead overall Procurement business partnering with Region Head and Regional leadership teams
Business partner role to the regional marketing/media managers, the commercial operations heads and the local GMs. Build credibility and trust with the stakeholders. Develop a deep understanding of the business to ensure all their needs are aligned and incorporated within the procurement strategic priorities
Partner with the regional and local sustainability teams to build a plan to deliver against B-Corp commitments
