Job Purpose/Summary:
An exciting opportunity exists to join our Pan European Sales team who are currently seeking a European Account Director (EAD) to discover and develop business with some of the most successful International BlueChip Companies representing some of the World’s biggest Brands.
Liaising with our Customer’s senior level cross discipline management and Smurfit Westrock’s C-suite, you will be responsible for the Strategic Development of your customers towards our goal of profitable growth. Supported by a dedicated, multi-skilled technical and commercial team, the EAD’s also drive the daily business working together with country Sales Directors, General Managers and Key Account Managers to ensure that we perform on our contractual commitments.
This is a valuable experience for ambitious managers who wish to have a lead management and commercial role in a truly International and dynamic environment, working to significantly move the business forward and make a positive impact on the sales culture of the wider organisation.
The Pan European Sales department is the backbone of Smurfit Westrock, managing more our largest customers across 21 countries and requires an individual of high calibre to direct this account management team.
Job Responsibilities/Key accountabilities:
Lead the negotiation of large tenders and RFQ: align our price and value proposition with the countries and senior management. Set up and follow a negotiation roadmap to achieve the best possible outcome for Smurfit Westrock Grow volume, gain longer contracts and improve margin at our PES customers by directly selling to these customersCreate and deliver insightful, story-driven presentations to inspire innovation and change in our customersWork across different teams prioritising your work and that of others to deliver against deadlines effectivelyBe responsible for overall project management and account budgets, delivering work in a cost-effective mannerLead the creation of strategic vision and targets to drive profitable growth and value for both Smurfit Westrock and Key customers. Align our position with our North American and LATAM sales organization
